Overview

The University of Warwick is a leading UK institution with a global reputation and a complex digital ecosystem built over decades. With more than 4 million webpages, multiple departments operating autonomously, and legacy on‑premise systems, Warwick sought to modernise its digital operations and unify its online presence using a scalable, enterprise‑grade DXP.

Objective

Warwick aimed to replace its in‑house SiteBuilder CMS, modernise marketing operations, improve governance, streamline content creation, and unify brand voice across departments. A key objective was to implement Optimizely DXP and CMP to support university‑wide digital transformation aligning with their 60th‑anniversary rebrand and future‑focused operating model.

Solution

Remarkable implemented the full Optimizely DXP suite (excluding commerce) including CMS, CMP, DAM, Opti ID, experimentation, recommendations, and data platform. Work included the largest Opti ID–Entra ID integration completed to date, with 40,000+ users. The team embedded closely with Warwick, bridging IT–marketing silos to support deep organisational change.

The results

Warwick gained modernised digital infrastructure, enterprise governance, unified content operations, and scalable cloud‑based systems—providing a strong foundation for long‑term digital transformation and a cohesive university‑wide brand experience.​
