We’ve been dying to get our hands on Sitecore Stream ever since it was announced at Sitecore Symposium 2024 last October and, this week, Remarkable finally got early adopter access from Sitecore to start diving in and getting our hands dirty.

Sitecore Stream is Sitecore’s big play in the AI space, and will enable a host of valuable AI-based features dotted throughout different Sitecore tools like XM Cloud, XP (Experience Platform), Content Hub and CDP (Customer Data Platform).

Stream lets customers create brand kits that contain information about them, their products and operations, which can be pulled in by the different features in each tool to help speed up things like page development, content briefing, personalisation and A/B testing to name but a few.

What is it?

While Sitecore Stream has tentacles that stretch far and wide across Sitecore’s ecosystem, from an admin perspective the tool itself consists of a portal that lets you keep track of all your AI projects and activities across the different Sitecore tools in one place.

When it’s active, Stream will be accessible from the Sitecore Cloud Portal like all the other Sitecore cloud-based tools.

The ‘My Day’ dashboard keeps track of all the Tasks and Projects that you’ve got running and features handy overviews of the progress and deadlines of each.

The ‘Projects’ section lets you dive in deeper on the projects themselves as well as creating new projects.

The ‘Brand Kits’ section lets you create a pool of data and content that represents your brand and update it with information that lets Stream tools reference to make its suggestions and content relevant to you.

The ‘Assistant’ section is where you can go to create prompts that reference your brand kit and get help with things like brainstorming content ideas or creating briefs.

Features

Sitecore Stream’s features touch on a number of different Sitecore tools making sure that they are always useful, no matter what you are trying to achieve.

Tiers

While there is a separate license required for the full Sitecore Stream feature set, some basic features are free to clients to whet their appetite and get familiar with the tool.

We can’t wait to get our teeth stuck into more of the features that Sitecore Stream has to offer and are excited to help our clients get the most out of it.
