Privacy Policy

Privacy.

This policy explains how Remarkable collects and uses personal information when you visit remarkable.global, contact us, download our content or receive our marketing.

Who we are.

Remarkable is a trading name of Remarkable Group XCP Ltd, registered in England and Wales no. 03124090, Cosmopolitan House, 2 Phipp Street, London EC2A 4BP. Remarkable Group XCP Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB004716. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Remarkable Group International Ltd (registered in England and Wales no. 12908761).

For any privacy question or request, email hello@remarkable.global or write to us at the address above.

What information we collect.

Information you give us — when you complete a contact or enquiry form, download a report or whitepaper, register for an event, subscribe to our emails or correspond with us: your name, job title, company, business email address, phone number and anything else you choose to tell us.

Information collected when you use our website — with your consent (see Cookies below): the pages you visit, how you arrived, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you interact with our pages. Where you have consented to analytics, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised mouse movements, clicks and scrolling so we can see how our pages are used. It does not capture what you type into forms.

Information about your organisation — with your consent, we use Leadfeeder (Dealfront) to identify which companies visit our website, based on their business IP address. This tells us the organisation, not the individual.

Information from other sources — we sometimes obtain business contact details (name, job title, business email address, company and LinkedIn profile) from the professional data provider Amplemarket and from public sources such as LinkedIn and company websites, so that we can contact people in relevant roles at organisations we think could benefit from our services.

We do not knowingly collect special category data, and our website is not intended for children.

How we use your information and our lawful basis.

Purpose Lawful basis
Responding to your enquiry and providing information you request, including report downloads Legitimate interests, or steps to enter into a contract
Sending marketing emails about our services, insights and events Consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests for business contacts, with an unsubscribe link in every email
Contacting business decision-makers we believe may be interested in our services Legitimate interests (business-to-business marketing)
Website analytics and improving our content Consent, via our cookie banner
Personalising the content you see on our site Consent
Measuring and improving our advertising Consent
Keeping our website secure and remembering your cookie choices Legitimate interests (strictly necessary)
Managing client and supplier relationships, and meeting legal and accounting obligations Contract; legal obligation

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against your rights, and you can object at any time (see Your rights).

We use information about the pages you visit to tailor the content we show you and the emails we send. This is a limited form of profiling and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with.

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • HubSpot — CRM, marketing email, forms, website analytics and our cookie banner
  • Google — Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
  • Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft 365
  • LinkedIn — LinkedIn Insight Tag, for advertising measurement
  • Leadfeeder (Dealfront) — company identification
  • Optimizely — content recommendations and website experimentation
  • Amplemarket — business contact data and outreach
  • WP Engine and Cloudflare — website hosting and security

We may also share information with our professional advisers, other companies in the Remarkable group, or authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the USA. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US Data Bridge for certified organisations) or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect your information.

How long we keep it.

We keep enquiry, marketing and prospect contact information for up to two years from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so that we can respect your request. Client and supplier records are kept for six years after the relationship ends, to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. Website analytics data is kept in line with each tool’s settings and for no longer than two years.

Your rights.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access a copy of your personal information, free of charge
  • have inaccurate information corrected
  • have your information deleted
  • restrict or object to our use of it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time
  • data portability
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before

To use any of these rights, email hello@remarkable.global. We will respond within one month. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies such as browser local storage, to make our website work, to understand how it is used and to measure our marketing.

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks for your choice. We only set analytics and advertising cookies if you accept them, with one exception: the website-testing cookies described under Website improvement, which are set by default and which you can switch off. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.

We use Google Consent Mode. If you decline analytics or advertising cookies, Google tags send limited signals without cookies or identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed), which Google may use to produce aggregated, modelled reports.

Website improvement (on by default — you can switch it off)

We use Optimizely to test different versions of our pages and measure which works better, so that we can improve the website. The sole purpose of these cookies is to collect statistical information about how our website is used. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), we can set them without asking first, provided we tell you about them and let you object.

To object, click Decline on our cookie banner, or switch off Analytics in Cookie settings. Optimizely will then stop tracking your visits and record your objection in an optimizelyOptOut cookie so we remember it.
